This thing called "CAC Annual Returns": what is it, and how does it concern you?
Even if your company hasn’t started operations, CAC still expects you to file annual returns.
It’s not tax. It’s a yearly check-in with the government to show your company is alive and compliant.
Many times, business owners have reached out to us in panic because their applications (for grants, visas, contracts, etc.) were rejected because their business was INACTIVE on the CAC portal.
Some are even struck off because they have been owing for years, and they didn’t know. They still had their CAC certificate, so they thought all was well.
